Didn’t Take Much to Get Rid of the Pigeons!

Thanks to a neighbor who talked to me about bird control companies, I saved myself the money involved in replacing the roof of my business. It all started last year when I noticed a lot of pigeons walking around on the ground outside the building. I had no idea where they came from, but it didn’t look good due to the sheer number of birds I saw. The quickly became a menace and every time anyone walked outside there was a huge spectacle as the birds took off as one. They also made a lot of noise and a lot of mess if you know what I mean.

It turns out they spent most of their time on the roof of my business. What this meant is that over time a build of bird excrement threatened to rot the rough clean through and potentially we could have all been killed if the roof dropped while people were inside the building. I didn’t even know they were up there until a customer noticed them flying off, circling around, and coming to roost on the roof. I told my neighbor and it turns out he had a similar problem years ago. He directed me to a company that could deal with the problem.

I gave these guys a call and they came out and went up on the roof and the news wasn’t great at all. The birds had already made a huge mess and they need to be taken care of immediately. The company presented me with several solutions, the best of which was to make sure the pigeons never came back again. I didn’t want to kill them so I went with that plan. The guys got to work and sure enough the birds decided to go hang out elsewhere. The mess got cleaned up and everything is great now.
